I have just provided to MRM management the list of people who will be patrolling this year and eligible to be issued a Volunteer NSP Patroller pass. As has been stated often, make sure that your Epic account is up to date.
I have been given the following information.
If you had a pass last season, your previous card will be reactivated. Please let me know if you no longer have your card from last season.
If you did not patrol last year, you will be issued a new card. The office will be giving them to me. I will distribute them to the patrol.
Do not expect this to be completed until right before our season. I will keep everyone updated. I assume that once a card is activated, the Epic account will reflect this.
If you anticipate purchasing a Volunteer Dependent Pass(s), you must enter your dependent information through our patrol website. Go to “Patrolling Requirements for 22/23” on the patrol website (lower right-hand side of main page) and look for “Dependent Pass Info.” (This does not commit you to purchasing the pass.)
While you are there, take care of the Vail Health and Safety requirements.
Once your Volunteer Pass has been activated, you may go to the ticket window and purchase Dependent Passes. It is also possible that you can do a phone transaction if you have the card from last year. However, you will not be sold a Dependent Pass unless the dependent name is on the list that I provide the office from our website. Remember, the general public will always receive priority over volunteers and staff at the ticket window so it is best to go during a slow time.
Let me know if you have any questions.
