Uniforms, Mule Driving Requirements and Opening Day Assistance

In preparation for opening day this coming Friday, please note the below.

  1. Uniforms: If you still need to collect uniforms, both Cheryl Raudabaugh and I (Tom Tavenner) will be at the area this Friday and Saturday. First priority is deploying equipment onto the hill. Once that is complete, either one of us will be available to disperse uniforms. There is a “process”, so for now you need to see either Cheryl and myself to receive your uniform.
  2. Mule Driving Requirements: In order to drive the Mule, you must complete training, submit information for Motor Vehicle Report, and complete Mule Driving test. ALL of this information is available with detailed instructions on this page of the patrol website – Mule Driving Safety Program. If you have not completed all steps, you may not drive the Mule this season. Please complete at least 48 hours before your first shift as it takes a few days for the MVR to be processed.
  3. Opening Day Assistance: If you are able to arrive at area several hours before opening (lifts start rolling at 3pm), we could use help getting equipment prepared and deployed on hill. Looking for 3 or 4 patrollers. Please send me (Tom Tavenner) a message if you can arrive early. At this time, I’m thinking we will meet in aid room at 12 noon on Friday. This time might be adjusted depending on number of responses.

    Thank you for considering!

See many of you soon!!
